Pune-based deep-tech enterprise Without and Bengaluru-based Sravathi AI have been selected as winners of the L’Oréal Beauty Tech Innovation Program 2025, the biggest open innovation challenge in the SAPMENA region.

The L’Oréal Beauty Tech Innovation Program 2025 identifies high-potential startups driving the future of beauty, consumer experience, and science-led technology solutions.

Two Indian startups – Sravathi AI and Without – were announced as winners at the Grand Finale of the L’Oréal Beauty Tech Innovation Program 2025, held on 7 November in Singapore.

The competition, which spans South Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa (SAPMENA), is the region’s largest beauty tech open innovation initiative.

They were chosen alongside Halo AI (UAE) and Heatseeker (Australia). Wubble AI (Singapore) received a Special Mention.

Each winning startup will receive a L’Oréal-funded commercial pilot with one of the Group’s 37 global brands, potential visibility across 35 SAPMENA markets, and year-long mentorship from senior leaders from L’Oréal, Accenture, Google and Meta.

The L’Oréal Beauty Tech Innovation Program 2025 drew over 50,000 startups from Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. Over nine months, startups pitched solutions in categories including:

  • Consumer Experience
  • Content & Media
  • New Commerce
  • Tech for Good
  • Science for Beauty

Ten finalists presented their innovations at the Grand Finale before a jury from L’Oréal, Google, Meta and Veros Ventures.

  • Saloni Shah Javeri, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, L’Oréal India, applauded Indian startups winning for the second year in a row, highlighting India’s rise as a global innovation hub.

Winners of the L’Oréal Beauty Tech Innovation Program 2025

Sravathi AI (India)

A silico chemistry AI platform offering end-to-end drug discovery, molecule development and scalable chemical manufacturing. Its AI-led solutions deliver route-of-synthesis design, yield optimisation, impurity prediction and process scalability.

Without (India)

Without, a Pune-based deep-tech circularity enterprise transforming unrecyclable plastic waste into toxin-free, high-quality materials using a patented chemo-mechanical process. Without’s mission is to address plastic waste and poverty through ethical circular economy models.

Halo AI (UAE)

An AI-powered creator intelligence platform helping brands identify and collaborate with nano and micro-influencers. It reduces manual workflows by 80% and enables rapid, authentic influencer marketing campaigns.

Heatseeker (Australia)

An AI platform enabling marketers to run real-time, in-market experiments with real customers, providing fast, quantitative insights into product-market fit, messaging and new market opportunities.

Special Mention: Wubble AI (Singapore)

A generative AI music creation platform producing personalised, royalty-free audio for brand campaigns, in-store experiences and digital activations.
